Waka - waka

In an incredible show in Soweto, the famous Johannesburg suburb, lasted three hours despite strong winds and temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius, 35 000 people, waving the flag of South Africa and dressed in gold and green - the colors of South African football internationals, launched the festivities accompanying the World Cup 2010.

Grandiose concert Stadium Orlando in Soweto began with the implementation of the South African soul singer Lira, which sang "Pata bang" - the emblematic song of the late Miriam Makeba, known as "Mama Africa".

Then the scene literally exploded from the Black eyed Peas, who performed her hit "I Gotta Feeling", and pregnant Alicia Keys, who presented an acoustic version of "Empire State of Mind".

Last stage came latinodivata Shakira, wearing a now familiar with zebrov Cavalli wedge pattern.

Song latinokrasavitsata "Waka Waka", also known by the English name "This Time for Africa", is the official World Cup anthem.

It was presented in April and then in the country - hosting the World Cup was received pretty cool too because of its Latin American sound.

Now, however, African football fans already like it because it caused a real furore in the end the three-hour concert.

Revenues from the concert will go to the FIFA 20 development center for football and social development in poor African communities.
